Autism Awareness Month

April is National Autism Awareness month. Autism is a developmental disorder of that appears in the first 3 years of life, and affects the brain’s normal development of social and communication skills. Did you know that according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, 1 out of 54 boys and 1 in 252 girls are diagnosed with Autism? Every year on World Autism Day, autism organizations around the world celebrate the day with fundraising and awareness raising events. Here at Plus Size Scrub we want to celebrate with the world and shine a light on the millions of individuals who go undiagnosed every day.
Both World Autism Day and World Autism Awareness Month bring awareness to Autism as a growing global health crisis. Outfit all of the individuals treating this disease in new scrubs from Plus Size Scrub.
